My June 5, 2001 Equifax score was an atrocious 504. I currently have 4 accounts in dispute through Lex and now my score is 489! But wait. I did apply for a Cap 1 card (got denied) about a week ago...maybe that did it--but 15 points?! Funny thing is it doesn't show up as an inquiry on the report I printed August 4, 2001. I sure hope some of these disputes add up to some deletes!
I disputed with TU, had 4 tax liens removed and one charge off was changed to "account with no negative effect", not rated status. My score went from 499 to 466!!!
