In reference to a post yesterday, can I dispute a Ch. 13 BK that I decided not to go through with? The case was dismissed. Will it be removed completely or shown as a dismissal? Thanks, poboy
Poboy, I had the same situation, a chapter 13 bk that I filed but did not go through with it and had it dismissed. I filed a dispute with both Equifax and Experian. Equifax removed it within 30 days. Expeian at first claimed it was verified. I filed another dispute with them stating that it was filed but dismissed. They "re-investigated" and yesterday I got my updated report showing it deleted. Transunion shows filed - dismissed and will not remove.(yet)
