My concern is charge-offs (approx. seven accounts) that continue to report a significant balance past due, depsite the fact the the debts were discharged with Chap 7 Bankruptcy in 1992. Am I able to dispute the charge-offs as inaccurate or as discharged? If so, will this change my credit score in any way, or must I just wait a few years and let them drop off? Is there any chance that disputes on such old accounts be ignored by my former creditors, thereby being removed by the Big-3?
