One of the things I've really hated about Equifax is that they try to essentially ditch people and force them to buy credit reports by changing their 800 number every 90 days and also requiring you to have a confirmation # first to even get to an operator. I finally found a number from the myfico web site that allows you to go straight to an operator who will then look up your file and allow you to dispute. Drum roll please.... (866) 238-8067 watch them change it in 90 days
Some of you might remember my JOKE about CRA'S and FAX numbers... THE EMPLOYEES GET TOGETHER AT THE MORNING MEETING AND THE EMPLOYEE OF THE DAY GETS TO DRAW A CARD FROM THE DECK OF 52 CARDS...THAT CARD MATCHES UP TO ONE OF 52 DIFFERENT INCOMING FAX LINES...5 DIAMONDS...MATCH THAT PHONE LINE AND THE FAX MACHINE GETS PLUGGED INTO THAT PHONE LINE FOR THAT DAY!!! AFTER 52 DAYS...THEY GET TO START OVER AGAIN!!!
