I've read about others calling EQ and getting inquiries deleted. Ran up a bunch of inquiries while shopping for mortgage, thought I'd give it a try. So they were ver nice about disputing all the inquiries I asked them to do - nine of 'em. What are the odds they'll get deleted? Since it's a dispute, I expect a lot of them will come back verified. What luck has anyone else had with this process?
So, tell me a bit more about the process. Did they get deleted after some period of time, immediately, or ?? And all of them, some?
Wow, they appear to be all gone, 'cept one. She couldn't "find" the name, guess I have to do this again 'til we get it right. I've been pulling my report twice a day when all I had to do was make a phone call.. schhwwweeet!
Re: Re: disputing EQ inquiries-works? Experian and TransUnion are different story .. It is very hard or impossible to get inquiries off over the phone .. Neither in writing .. Denny
Re: Re: disputing EQ inquiries-works? Yes, EXP has many inquiries. Haven't effected my score yet, seems they really do group mortgage related pulls together as one. Amazingly, my EQ score *dropped* 10 points when the inquiries were cleared. Weird.
"Experian and TransUnion are different story .. It is very hard or impossible to get inquiries off over the phone .. Neither in writing .." I've been able to easily delete inquiries from EQ and had no luck at all with EX and TU. My wife, on the other hand, sent one letter to TU and they deleted ALL inquiries, hard and soft, from her file! Go figure...
