Getting ready to dispute a debt for the first time. This might sound stupid but what should I include in the dispute letter, besides that it's not mine? I have read the dispute letters in the Credit Net library and they sound like I am asking them to verify the debt. Is that what I want to do? Also should I send a copy of my report with the items in question highlighted?

Just send the letter with the tradelines listed.
    ie.
    Sears - Acct # 4444 - NOT MINE - REMOVE
    FUSA - Acct # 2323 - Never Late

No other docs, unless you have proof of what your disputing. They have 30 days to verify the debt with the creditor, otherwise, per the FCRA, they have to remove.
