I am waiting for copies of my husband's and my credit reports to get here (by mail) but decided to check out the equifax credit reports online with the free thingy offered in another thread. (household, I think) Anyway, I did that and have lots to dispute (just for personal information) but I have a question about my husband's name....Equifax has it spelled incorrectly. Not a huuuuge deal, but its listed as Jeffrey, and its actually Jeffery. Is that something I should let go...or dispute? my husband has 11 TLs on this CR, 11 closed accounts and 10 negative listings ...5 judgments, and 5 collections. I want to make sure I start doing everything exactly right in the beginning. Thanks.
Here's some good reading to help you get started off on the right foot.
