Woah! 9 hard inquiries in less than one month. I'll cool it with the online applications. I've reached a point where my new found credit should have time to age and grow.

Now, I'm left with a bunch of inquiries (most of which are on Equifax). Has anyone had success disputing "hard" inquiries? If so, how did you do it?

I will also send an email to Lex Law and asking the same questions.

I am in about the same boat as you. I have about 11 inquiries in 6 months. I am also planning on taking a break for awhile. I plan to be in a position to buy a house in 6 months or so.

I doubt you will have much success fighting inquiries. The CRAs don't want to verify disputed inquiries. You may have luck contacting the creditor for validation. Or try calling and disputing with each CRA.
