Here is something I found to be unsual. When I dispute a tradeline and it remains, the last date reported updates. However, on one particular account it says verified 03-2002 but the last date reported is 10/2001. I think experian did not actually verify.

i dont know what is going on. this is the second time they stated a tradeline remains but do not have the verification date on the report... this seems strange

I am looking online at my investigation, and I too have "Remains" on a tradeline that was supposed to have been deleted by the CA, I even have his letter in hand stating that he is requesting deletion and it *was* deleted from Equifax.

I see another tradeline that says "Updated" but it is not gone - and I know that this is supposed to be gone, again because I spoke and have written verification from the creditor.

This is really weird. I feel like punching my monitor, because these were the two that I wasn't supposed to have - any- problems - with....

okay checked experian today and there are 4 collections that i disputed after i sent each a validation. now the cra reported remains but does not give the date verified... i know on several others that they say were verified they have the date item was verified...

Any thoughts on this... i just re disputed again so we will see, but now have to wait another 30 days and that not right...

Make a list of what's right with the CRAs and another list of what's wrong with them.
TIP:Do the what's right list first because if you try to do the what's wrong list first you will never have time to do the what's right list:

Like I said, can you give us more information on your situation?

    For example:

Are you talking about collection accounts? Are they paid, unpaid? Are you talking about charge-offs? Paid charge-offs/unpaid charge-offs? What state do you live in? Which particular CRA are any of these accounts on? Or are they on all 3 CRA's?

I have not actually received my report (in the process). I have been reading and trying to prepare for the correct steps to take.

Unless you can give us a specific situation, I suggest you continue to read up on the board. Once you get your reports, we can help you out with whatever questions you may have.
