Hi, I was wondering an effective way to delete two 30 day lates on my JCPenny's charge. These are from 3/1999 and 6/1999. I have contacted JCPennys regarding these lates and I have a letter from them saying that the the account was never late and they promised to remove them from my report, but haven't. I have tried mailing a copy of the letter to the credit bureaus too, but haven't had too much luck. Does anyone know a number for JCPenny's that would get me to someone who can take care of this? I get the feeling when I call that the CS representatives don't have a clue on how to handle it. Thank you so much for reading.
