    Hi
Ok .... I'm really trying not to waste anyones time but..quick question...how do you do it ?
Do the CRA have a problem with just listing your current address or do they insist on the previous address ?(we have a paid judgement tied to our old address from 6 mos ago) I was just going to fax a letter to experian and say remove the old incorrect address and give them my current address.. Is that it ?
    TIA

You should call them....its one of the few things that the customer service reps can do on their own. (My experience, though, was that equifax was fast, while experian took 3 calls before a rep actually did what she said she was going to do)

With Experian I have had no problems. Equifax (CSC for me) is actually sending out to an old and new account to see if they have records of that address. I have no idea what the outcome will be...

TU I disputed online, and have not heard back yet.

    So what will that prove?
If was wrong then it's still wrong now!

I think what LB is suggesting here is: Just go ahead and dispute ALL previous addresses (request that they remove them). It's unusual for the CRA to question your request (correct me if I am wrong). It is very important, though, for you to be insistent.

In my experience, EFX corrected the info the same day. EXP took a month.
