I have a few questions. I read so many things . but than am so afraid I will do something wrong. So I come to you folks! Here are my questions...
    1) Where can I find the addresses that I need to send the disputes to? ( For the CRA's)
    2) I need to send disputes re: 3 different CC accounts. I read somewhere that you shouldn't dispute more than 1 dispute every 90 days???? Did that mean only 1 dispute ( CC) to each 3 CRA's? Or is there any truth in that??
    3) I sent a first validation letter to a Citi account and they sent back just copies of some statements. No signatures, etc. I know this isn't true validation, but am unsure how to proceed with them. Do I send a 2nd validation letter to them or what or go ahead and dispute that account with the CRA's as well??
4)Do I use the dispute letter that is in the sample letters ( to send to the CRA's)? Or does anyone have one they had good luck with?

I'm sorry for so many questions...I appreciate everyone on here and hope several will reply. I don't ususally get many to reply and am then still unsure of exactly what to do.
    THANKS!! :)

    Missy,

Are they all CA accounts or still with the OC's??? And how old are the accounts. The older the better.

    • Not true. It's considered a bad strategy if you dispute more than 4-5 items at once in one letter. Some people advise to send one item per letter per day.
    • Dispute it with the CRAs as "not mine" stating that the OC has failed to validate.
    • Use this or this letter, modify whatever is necessary.
    • Don't be. This is why we have this board ... As tonyd said - don't worry and calm yourself.

You may want to read "To Live Not To Die". The point is - ask as many questions as you need, but try to understand the process yourself ... :)

The 3 accounts I am talking about are all with a CA. They are about a year old.
