I'm gonna cry over here :)

I'm not gettin on ya, but if it saves anyone from doing this:

    1. NEVER give yer ssn to anyone on the phone! In fact, I wouldn't even give it when I call somebody and I know who it is.

    2. Just cause they magically 'find' the accouts in their files, don't mean it's yours. And wow collection agencies LIE!

    3. DO NOT talk to collection agencies on the phone! I know alotta people disagree, but that is how I feel. They'll promise you a mansion, and you'll end up with a hut....or on the street.

I know the experts can answer the thing about them callin, etc....but I just wanted to throw in my 14 cents.

    Good luck!

I have been trying to dispute some accounts.
Experian sends letters saying already verifed, we will not re-dispute.
They also refuse to provide procedure evidence how they were verified.
This has happened 3 times in the last 2 months.

    Any ideas?

I am having the same problem with Experian as I have gotten a letter from them saying an account was verified and that the name and number of the OC or CA is on the credit report. They are jerks. Filing BBB complaint about the OC and CA, and I'll see how that works out.

File a FTC complaint online about Experian..
they need several different complaints from consumers to investigate

Also..how did you dispute with Experian? I have a thread explaining what I am going through and am not able to dispute with them.

I disputed online, and in writing.
When I spoke to some one I had a report number,
also said "Help"...next time I called it denied me a live person.

Can you give me that # that you called please? I have my old report # but I do not have that # and cannot get anything but automated.

    What does "help" mean?

Help was an option it gave me. When I said operator or cust. serv. it said goodbye. Last time I called it wouldnt work.
    Good Luck.

I got a human at EX by telling the computer I wanted to dispute an address. It took me about five minutes of going through menus, but I eventually got put on hold for a human. After I got a CSR, I ended up on hold again while I waited to go to the special place. I never threatened to sue Ex, I only wanted to dispute two addresses. Now, when I view my report online, one of the address is listed as in dispute and the other one isn't. I was not given a direct number to call special handling in the future. At least I can still view my CR online.
