    Can you dispute accurate information on multiple late payments on a recently paid off car loan?

    You can dispute anything you want. Recent accounts tend to be harder though.

    Actually, it depends on who holds the note! I have disputed (what were at the time) extremely recent late pays on both Arcadia Financial and Chrysler Financial. (I disputed it as "not late" as opposed to never late.) On EQ both pay historys were deleted and the accounts marked I1. EX deleted the pay history on Arcadia changed it to I1 and deleted the entire Chrysler acct. TU deleted both entirely.

    I like the strategy of requesting validation on a paid account, it just seems to thoroughly **confuse** the creditor.

    So do I. people have paid in error.So why not validate?

    i hold the title the car was paid off in june...with fireside thrift i have ALOT of 30 days late and one 60 day.....should i dispute it maybe they wont respond should i call and ask if they could delete it or lol should i validate and confuse them lol and if i did validate it what would that do?? lmho
