    Hi,
    thanks in advance!!!Do these offers in the mail really help you? How about these companies that call and ask if you have a checking account. My wife and I almost did it a few times but $199???? We don't need them now but some friends are asking about them........they say it's better than waiting 18months on a secured card. Has anyone ever used them???? If so what was your experience please!

    Its all overpriced junk and they probably don't even report the the big 3.

    READ THE LETTER...says nothing abou VISA or MASTERCARD, you buy over-priced junk from thier catalogue.

    It is a SCAM!altogeater.Never give out any personal information to these crooks!

    Take the $200 and get a secured Visa or Master Card from Chase, FCNB, or Capital One instead. Like everyone said, most of thesee catalogue places don't help you build your credit, but they damn sure will leave a black mark if you mess up!
