Just received an invitation to apply for a Chase "Platinum Master Card"

2.9 intro APR on balance transfers for 9 months, with 3-level APR pricing afterwards, Preferred Pricing 16.49-18.49 if balances are lower than $2500, Standard Pricing, 18.49-22.49, non-preferred pricing,a real bargain, up to 27.99.

It's all very confusing, but I bet very few people qualify for the 16.49 rate.

Then, if you transfer a balance after the initial offer, there is a small $50 fee for the transaction.

I think I'll pass this one up ;)

    IT IS WORKABLE IF...

YOU GET A CREDIT LINE $5,000+
DO 2.9% BALANCE TRANSFER FOR LIKE $4,900 TO ONE CARD, even if you don't owe that much, because if you did 3 cards you would pay $150 extra.

After 8.5 months, if they refuse to give you another 9 months, PAY IN FULL, then use it like for gas each week...PAY IN FULL (the "go to" interest rate really doesn't matter if you pay in full).

F.Y.I. my DISCOVERCARD interest rate is HIGHER than 16.49%...but I pay in full.
