Do I have to send "intent to sue"

Equifax's affiliate, CSC, put 2 previously deleted accounts back on my report last week. These accounts were absolutely wrong from the start. I have copies of the UDF's, a letter from the creditor authorizing deletion, and now they are back.

Do I have to send an "intent to sue" letter? They didn't notify me within 5 days of the reinsertion. I am hoping for deletion and $2k.

no, i would just file the small claims and send them a settlement offer with a copy of the suit. how much does it cost for you to file smalll claims.... for me it was only 39.00 which includes service.

It costs $45 to file and $55 to service, so $100 total.

How likely do you think it would be to get additional deletions out of them in lieu of the money? My goal is a clean EQ report. I have about 7 "included in BK" accounts and a public record. All inquiries are now gone!

i don't know. I will be filing on them friday also. i have two public records i need to get off, so I am hoping that a clean report will be the result. some cash would be nice.... but i really want prime land.

Kiyi, trial and error. I have to use CSC, the affiliate, they seem to be a little easier on the inquiry dispute than Equifax.

Every dispute was "no knowledge of inquiry."
