BTW , the stuff you guys are teaching me is working Wife has increaed scores across the board by about 20 points . I've increased maybe 10 on mine , expecting more . Just started this , once my mortgage problems are off , I believe my score shall increase .
? Are they supposed to be removed and just show BK ? ==================== Good question;question is who has the answer?
I was just waiting for MarkTime to leave so I could answer this. lol I believe that any account history is allowed to stay on a BK account, but the TL should read IIB and zero balance. If you didn't reaffirm the loan/account but kept the property and continue to pay (like on a home or car), they are not supposed to report positive or negative events after the filing date. If you did sign a reaffirmation, they continue reporting just as before. But again, I believe that any history that was on the credit report before you filed is allowed to stay there.
