I was thinking about applying for one of those fancy schmancy smart cards for secure transactions. I've heard about the Amex Blue which comes with the computer attachment/reader. I like the idea of credit cards using a one time only # for transactions, especially on the web. But, I don't want additional plug-ins slowing things down. Plus, who knows what sort of information the credit card companies store on their chip. Do these cards work well, or are they more of a hassle?
