i talked to eq yesterday about a tradeline they informed me that would be deleted which has not or it maybe came back im not sure either way. i told her to resend reports to everyone who had requested my report in the last 12 months and she saiod OK but it will really hurt your score because the number of inq will double. does anyone know if this right?

Each creditor isn't going to care about the new report. Their systems are designed to do pulls from the bureaus.

If you want new credit from any potential creditors, why not call them directly and apply or ask for reconsideration.

i was just following what is in most of the sample letters and these companies are making money at my expense by selling my credit report. i want the companies who buy it to get their moneys worth

Can they actually do that, or is that a scare tactic? I wouldn't think those should result in inquiries, since what they are actually doing is sending a copy of a consumer disclosure report, not one which was pulled via inquiry.

I think a name change is in order: instead of CRAs, we should start calling them CPAs (my apologies to all you accountants out there) which stands for Consumer Punishment Agency.
