I recently applied for the Kay jewelers card. They pulled transunion which is my best credit report. I got denied because they couldn't verify my address or phone number. Well my phone number is unlisted. And my address is a PO Box and is the same as on my credit report. The denial letter however was mailed to my street address. This address hasn't been listed on my CR for over a year and I never gave it to them when I applied. Where did they get this address! Do they see a different credit report than I do?
