Show disputes? I mean, when I have disputed an item with them, and then obtained a report, the TU online and EXP mailed reports both do NOT show the dispute. EXP online DOES. I am wondering if these show up different to a creditor that pulls a report though? Not at all related, why does my TU score go down the more I clean up my file with them?!
TU never shows an account as being in dispute, online or otherwise. I wouldn't worry too much about the score TU gives you, it is not the "real" Fair Issac score. But as far as your TU score going lower, I think it has to do with the "age" of the deleted account. If you have an old CA account deleted, the TU score may drop because you have lost an "older account", even though it is a negative factor. It seems to me that the positive of losing a negative account should outweigh the negative of losing an older account, but not with the TU score. Hope this helps.
Isn't that a direct violation of the FCRA? I am speaking of my FICO score from a tri-merge and from ELoan. Actually, it was something like 580, but dropped to 550 from a bogus collection account being dropped on my report. Still, it was in the mid to high 500's when I started to clean... Hmmm, I did lose an old account by mistake, that I think even had a good history...THAT was a huge error...
