I am sick of it. You refuse to email me back and you placed me on a priority list and nobody will tell me why nor will they take me off. I disputed a tradeline july 20 and suddenly I am told that I said it should be stopped. I NEVER SAID THIS. Then I am told one day the people in priority could not see my dispute as it came out of the california office and the next time they say they can see it and there is no dispute. Never mind the fact that one was complete and I have a printout of the dispute. TAKE ME OFF PRIORITY OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES. You were fined 1 million dollars 2 years ago because people could not call in and get ahold of customer service in a timely manner. Is calling me 6 days later your idea of a timely manner? I filed a complaint with the FTC and I hope they fine you again. In one week I am writing to the BBB and then I will call both of our attorney generals. A week after that I will be getting a lawyer that specializes in the FCRA. It is a shame that your state is a 2 party consent state for telephone recording. I want to be removed from priority NOW and I want that tradeline put back under dispute retroactive from the date of july 20. Why you people continue to be a pain in the ass is beyond me. You have everything to lose and nothing to gain from this. I am sick of being nice because nice is getting me nowhere. nancy
I did not bother asking. My dispute is with a tradeline that is being incorrectly listed and which over the last couple years they have removed to even one time investigage and I did not ask to be put on their stupid priority list which they refuse to take off. I urge all of you who have been put there to file with the FTC now. Do not wait. If they get enough then maybe transunion will wake up and stop pretending they are above the law. These are the idiots who spent 10 years fighting the government so they could sell your information without your consent.
I just got a call from transunion. They are removing me from priority. Well I thank don richman for reading this and doing the right thing I wish it did not have to come to this. When will these companies realize that their actions hurt the consumers. Just one erroneous tradeline can keep us from getting a cc,car,house ect or make us pay thousands in extra interest fees. Instead of looking at the proof we give or giving us the benefit of the doubt they fight over the silliest things and open themselves up to enormous lawsuits. Probably that 5.3 million lawsuit will be heavily reduced but they could have saved themselves a fortune in attorney fees and damages if they just looked at the complaint. Now I just need to get that bogus tradeline removed or put back in investigation and then I will not have to call transunion hopefully ever again.

I do not have a problem with him. I just wish I did not get shoved into a corner. I also do not want money from anyone but just want the right thing done. I talked to a danielle and she told me to fax over my dispute retroactive to july 20th and they can either delete the last incorrect tradeline or put it back in investigation where it belonged. Once that sucker is deleted they will never hear from me again. It is a shame that like 4-5 years ago some idiot lady stole my ss# and almost got me fired from my job when they put out a fraud alert on me. It took me a year with the main bank she did it from but it looks like I am about home free. tomorrow my unvl/citi gets deleted from equifax, ucb is sending me a deletion letter, and then my credit will be perfect. It took about 100 hours this month for my husband to get all the stuff he needs to take action but it is well worth it.
The problem with "priority" is, it isn't priority. If you call, the regular cs reps can't access your report and help. They tell you Priority needs to call you back, which can take several days. And, as far as I found, priority does nothing any different than normal.
I was encouraged by TU that Priority meant "Extended service." The worst explanation and service I have ever gotten from TU was my first call through the Priority dept. The worst part is that you can't get immediate answers. They have to call you back, and then it is on their timetable. If you aren't available, they leave a message, and the whole process starts over again. It is complete crap!
"Law", "Lawsuit", "Attorney", "Legal Action", "Dear Mr. Richman" All of these will create cause to join the PRIORITY CLUB!!!! I know that I am in the club, so was Picantel (but I just read is now sprung), Greywolverine, KHM I think, Saar, and a multitude of others. If I said you were a member and you aren't, sorry, just trying to recruit some new blood to join us! Ha! Ha!
All those above words get you put in priority which also includes 'pain in the butt, nuisance,ect' but all of the above words also get you out of priority too.
