print this on my report? *LOL* In my ITS letter to EQ regarding them not deleting a CA being reported in error, I sent my 100 word statement for them to add to my report in case they don't fix the error.

"EQUIFAX has chosen not to DELETE this account even with evidence and the hardwork of Jane Doe at Collection Agency. Call her or John Doe at Collection Agency 111-222-3434 to verify EQUIFAX is reporting this in ERROR and refuses to DELETE and correct the ERROR"

They are a bunch of idiots. Heck, a bunch of monkeys at a Zoo could take care of things better than most employees at Equifax. I am so tired of dealing with them and their games.
I can't wait to have them add my statement to the report. I dare them to admit they are wrong.

    Just my late night thoughts!

Hey Chick, I like your style!

I will remember your idea for future reference if it ever comes to that. But I do have to say, your idea is very good.

You can have a 100 word statement...here's what I would write...

"Equifax internal review" There is an error in our system and this negative tradeline IS NOT John Doe's.

    EAGLE ALERT!! NOTICE TO CREDITORS!!
Please add 100 points to the credit score we provided you because of our error.

    Thank you

    Equifax

...And then I would include this with every negative TL on there.

    Fight the machine!!!

    OMG... Unbelievable.

I faxed it to some of the Equifax numbers I got from searching this board and also mailed it certified. The mail hasn't been recieved yet BUT the TL is gone!!!
Somehow someone at Equifax really cared to help me. I am so touched. I wish I knew who to thank! *LOL* I hope it doesn't pop back up.
I guess given the choice they don't want to have themselves look stupid given the evidence I attached that backed up my claim.

BUT! It only boosted my score from 549 to 553 on PG. It wasn't that old so I would have thought it would have been a higher jump. Oh well. One less incorrect TL!

GREAT JOB! I love reading things like this and use these ideas also.

If I ever have an account I want removed I usually call on it about 50 times a week. Around 10 times a day. This usually works (at least in my personal experience) if you no longer owe any money to them. They realize they cannot collect a dime off of you and are to big of a pain to deal with anymore. It's SO funny when they finally say "Sir I have no idea what account you are talking about"? "I just can't pull it up on my screen." When they could have before.

Then you dispute it and poof, gone. I don't suggest anyone take that much time and do it but it has worked several times for me. Maybe other members have done this also?

Alot of times you have to lie on the phone about the account the way it is being reported. Oh well.

When you call 10 times a day, what do you say? That sounds like something I would do. *LOL* Have you used it with OCs, CAs or what?
I totally want to hear more.

I have some paid chargeoffs/collections that have been a bi@tch to get deleted. The CAs are idiots...oh I even got one last week telling me they couldn't delet any earlier because of "The Truth In Lending Act". I wonder if they learned that phrase and canned answer in orientation.
I tried to bribe one paid off CA in San Diego that validated a while back with a 10pack of tickets to a Padre Game or free tickets to the Zoo and/or Wild Animal Park. (I have free connections down there). That didn't even work. My friend in San Diego offered to go deliver them Noahs Bagels in exchange for deletion. *LOL* They wouldn't take it. Maybe I should call them 10 times a day...

I also think like you and snakeman also. When you actually call the CA or OC ALOT check all 3 reports to see if they even pull a soft inquiry. That is the advantage you have to check out if they even check your credit report to see if they really check out what they are reporting, more likey what the CRA says. At least say it that way. Lie about what is being reported and be the biggest pain ever. If they have no dimes to collect what do they care? Do you really think they will continue to pursue an account being reported negative when they have no money to collect? Tell them the account is being reported by the dumb CRA a certain way. Call them ALOT, but be carefull they do not pull a hard doing so. They usually pull a soft if they do at all. If they pull a HARD on a $0 balance they can't collect on, burn them hard! The ball is in your court. I have never had luck with the bribe thing either. But calling them 50 times a week trying to get different people or phone numbers on a balance they cannot collect really gets them.

Ask and question anything about how it is being reported and how the CRA is reporting it. Both sides believe the CRA is dumber than you and the CA.

I'll put it this way if you were the OC or CA what would you do on a balance they collect a dime on? And someone took alot of your time. You would go after were the money is, right?
