Ok, I promise this will be the last post I make that starts with "Doc's"... unless I opt for "Doc's Creditnet Suicide" (just kidding).

Anyway, I came across this special promotion and thought I would pass it along -- 1 year of Equifax CreditWatch with unlimited reports and genuine FICO scores for the low price of $24.95. (That's $45 off.) I would grab it while you can.

    Enjoy!

    Doc :)

P.S. Let me answer the question before it is asked. No, I am not a hacker. No, this is not an illegitimate link. No, I didn't invent the link. No, I'm not going to tell you who directed me to the link. No. No. No. No. No. :)

No Doc but you ARE a Doc and I figured you could leap into the brain (or lack there of) of Equifax and see why they would do something like this :)

From one smartass to another :p

    Well, I signed up!! YIPPY!

However, It did tell me that since I had previous signed up for the trial that I wasn't entitled to the trial, but then I put in my CC # and it went through.. so hopefully even if they charge my card immediately it will only be for the $24.95.. I hope.

Oh wait... now it's telling me to call customer svc.... DAMN!

KHM, I cancelled befor the 30 days in april, got the same email you did. In May I was charged on my CC, called them up to see why, they said I have to call in to cancel, told them I got there email comfirmation, they had no clue there was a feature on the site to cancel your account. I'd call them to make sure of your cancelation.

    Rina,

Just call customer service, say you want to cancel. They will give you a prorated refund ($69.45?). Then go online and resign up.

Don't mension the new price. Just cancel, hang up, go to the website, and sign up.

    Jason/Doc,

How long should I wait before using the promo?

I'm on hold right now; the rep is going to ask if they can refund the entire $69.95...
