    It's true....I do love you!

I don't know how it happened. It just started. I didn't click on your links, I didn't even really read the thread (sorry, not totally credit related). Ghosts....I think.

    Erica,

You are seeing 50 threads per page because I changed the default setting from 25 to 50 on our end. 50 is now the default.

I have also removed some images and replaced the top image with a smaller-size graphic in order to speed up page loading.

    Sincerely,
    pbm

TI 99-4/A computer with the expension box that held a SSDD floppy, CGA color graphics card and extra memory card boosting total memory to 32K for RAM. The floppy was nice in that it replaced the *cassette tape* deck used to house information. And since floppy disks were $5-$8 each, it was nice that you could cut the notch on the other side and double your space!! Oh yeah, let's not forget the programs that came packaged like a Sega cartridge nowadays! and the whole thing is in my parents' garage and still works!

The Atari800 that I got in High School is still working in my dads office. He has the names of people arriving from appointments typed in to the console and the there is a tv in back and they can see who is there. Hahahaha

I also remember those cassette tape recorders it used for loading programs...50% of the time it would fail and you had to rewind the whole tape to the beginning and start over...than after 2 or 3 tries and 20 minutes you got to play Space Invaders ... LOL

    Hi PsychDoc,

Very observant, as usual. I brought the default back down to 40 but failed to post about it here.

    Sincerely,
    pbm

LOL. 40 is good. Of course I myself prefer 75. (This reminds me of "sleep preferences" on a Select Comfort Air Bed.)

In the mid 90's I took a college class and used an old mainframe, with a 1970's design program. Think the school still has it but not sure.
