Let's just all admit the fact that we all are PBM. Besides, that would make bkev happy. And Doc, although your thread may in the end surpass the "this board is being watched" thread, don't forget that when my thread was started on 9/6/01 there were about 900 members. There were 911 members on 9-11. Now there is 2847 members. So even if you do pass my thread up, I maintain that I am still the champ. LOL
LKH, you're right. In order for this thread to surpass yours, it would need precisely 2.855010661 times as many views, or exactly 29,364. Actually, it even gets more complicated than that (seriously), because we would need to figure the rate of new member acquisition and determine the new value using calculus. That said, I'll bet this thread doesn't even get near the "This Board is Being Watched" posting, lol. That one has timeless appeal and will be resurrected anytime there's a "security alert"... Doc

Ted, I have probably done that 20 times and I'm not joking. THey just send me the "we must keep inquiries on file for 2 years" form letter and don't delete anything. I have written scathing letters to them in addition. Nothing works. They have NEVER deleted an inquiry yet, and it has been over a year of trying.

INQUIRES ARE A "MATTER OF RECORD"...but there is NO law that MAKES them pull a credit report!!! They pull a "HARD" for ANY reason~~~they DON'T have to, but they do!!! "SOFT" could be used in MANY cases where they just pull a "HARD" because they can!!! I told the story about FIRST USA...NO "HARD" NO "SOFT" for a $5,000 increase...but when I did a BT months later...THEY PULLED A "HARD"...BECAUSE THEY CAN!!!
