I've never seen such results. I have hardly even seen inquiries removed and never at this rate. I had 17 hard inquiries removed and 11 soft inquiries removed. Props and thanks to Doc. Trip
Just got mine back, disputed 6, 4 deleted. I'm wondering though, seems I read somewhere in this huge thread that inquiries over a year old were coming off, or seeming to automatically, the two that are remaining: Nextcard 12/05/2000 CBE Group 01/18/2001 Both over a year old. And, isn't nextcard out of business, how could that be verified? Sassy
Another Hard Inquiry deleted today so now the total disputed is 4 and the total removed is 4. Score is same as when 3 were gone but it may go up again when they update as the simulator is still showing that one last inquiry. I'm happy!
OK - Here is grand total for me... 7 hard disputed - 7 hard deleted whole bunch of soft deleted... WHOOOO HOOOOO!!! Thanks Doc!!!
Worked like a charm only 1 hard left Providian (they verified?) 5 hard inquires gone on mine all of the hard inquires gone on spouse's (approx. 6) I did not mess with soft inquires as I caught them on the last day. Many thank Doc.
Thanks Doc as always!!! 2 hard inquires deleted. 20 soft inquiries deleted. Used all my free 30-days with Credit Expert, no idea what the point gain is.
A total of 42 soft inquiries were deleted out of 43 soft inquiries disputed. One (1) soft inquiry was verified. I have a lot of credit, so five (5) more soft inquiries from my lenders were recorded in the last 30 days. I elected to OPTOUT. Therefore, no soft inquires for the purpose of promotional offers were recorded by Experian. My Creditexpert score remains unchanged. However, this means nothing as I have on a number of occasions compared my true credit union score with my CreditExpert score. True score was always higher. Thanks Doc for a valuable "trick" Thanks Marie for bringing up the OPTOUT matter some time ago.
I still want to know how (FIRST USA even though they are "SOFT") can still be on my wife's report..."REMAINS" All the "SOFT" inquires were AFTER the account was CLOSED... WHAT IS THE "PERMISSABLE PURPOSE"???
Way to go, everybody! Also, thanks for the "thanks" -- but as good as it feels to hear that, I know basically that I did very little except take a look at my web browser link/bookmark history. I'm just very happy that this benefitted many more people than just me. (Of course, I'm happy it benefitted me too, lol -- I got a 19 point boost from 6 hard inquiry deletions.) It looks like we're at the tail end of the 30-day period for just about everybody during the next few days, so hopefully there will be a few more additional last-minute deletions. Doc
They're all gone today, except for the CE soft inquiries (I didn't dispute those). Total score increase of about 10 points. Although it has been higher. Some of my accounts will not update - if they would......
George, it just occurred to me that with your luck they're liable to add inquiries and diminish your score just because it's you. breeze, glad to hear it! Doc
