Quick question..."soft" inq should not affect your score.

Why would you want to dispute "soft" inquiries?

...asking out of shear curiousity (does it REALLY affect your score?)

    Thanks.

Like I said last night, they're open to a lot of freebies. This was obviously coded by a newbie.

Because if your file gets too big, CE may be unable to deliver your score & report online. At least in some people's experiences.

    CE Slowin' Down

Is it just me...or is CE's sever/network connection slowing down...

I'm on my company's T1 line and I usually get near-instantaneous page refreshes...

Now it takes 10-20 secs...Sheeesh...I feel sorry for those of you on 28.8 or 36.6 modems...

    Very well done,

I do hope they will investigate and then delete all of them.

    Has this worked before?

If memory serves, they will remain shaded in blue and under investigation for the full 30 days. Once that was up, all of mine were deleted except one. I had to perform the investigation twice on it. Hopefully, it will still work that way.

Ok this is going to be a stupid question, BUT should I assume that once you paste the link and change the number to the desired inquiry that all you have to do it select "No Knowledge of Inquiry" and "Submit"?

    Thanks.

That's what I did. I think this is sufficient. Any other opinions??

Is anyone disputing Inquiries for which they were actually granted credit and have the account listed? Does it matter if you dispute it? I would think not...

    I got the same message....

Copy as a Shortcut the link from that message screen. Now paste it in your open Credit Expert Inquiry page window. Follow the instructions above. A screen will pop up and ask what is wrong with the inquiry. Select the reason and you are finished.

This sounds good and all....do I need to log in? I know that sounds stupid, but if so, I have no credit card to use to even get logged in and on the welcome page I see nothing regarding inquiries. I also get the page has expired message. How are you people doing this, does everyone have a membership to the website or somthing?

Yes you have to subscribe to the service. You get the first 30days free of charge. Are you a member?
