Doc--- All I can say is WE'RE NOT WORTHY!! You my (new) friend, are a genious. I'm still sitting here stunned. BTW, for some reason it took me 4 or 5 tries to work. I kept getting a system error message, re: activity or login. But I am one persitent gal and you guys said it worked, so I kept trying (I think the trick was having the inquiry clicked in its own window) and it worked!! Wow.

I know that sounds stupid, but if so, I have no credit card to use to even get logged in and on the welcome page I see nothing regarding inquiries. I also get the page has expired message. How are you people doing this, does everyone have a membership to the website or somthing? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote from Javan "Yes you have to subscribe to the service. You get the first 30days free of charge. Are you a member?" I guess I am not a member because I never joined for a free 30 days because.... "catch 22" I don't have credit card to use to log in. I guess I am just screwed, as usual. Sounds really cool though, I have been lurking here for awhile and this post was the bait that brought me out. Guess I will dispute the old fashioned way
are you pasting the link in the SAME window that CE is already open in?? DO NOT open link in a new window. give this a try
No, you donâ??t have to be a member... Iâ??m not a member and I just disputed 3 inquires at https://www.experian.com/consumer/ all you need is your Experian report number.
Hey LisaMC...where've you been ;-) TU already let's you do it...in an unorthodox method (ie. inq date as acct num and creditor as pulling creditor). It's EFX that I want to see change...
Thanks Doc! You Rock! Now can you figure out how to dispute the PersonalInfo? Or do I have to snail mail that in? Thanks for the TIP! -Peace, Dave
You can do this over the phone. They will correct/delete items right away. Did it last week, logged into CE 3hours later and it was corrected.
TU lets you do this but then they send a letter about how no one needs your permission, contact the creditor, stays on for two years, blah, blah, blah..... I sent them a more forceful letter hoping that will work (sigh).... Also, Doc, you rock ;-) This was amazing.
I just explained to my wife that I rock, that I'm the man, and that I rule. When she gave me that "you're nuts" look, I offered up this thread as clear evidence that legions of people have discovered what a cool guy I am. Unfortunately, such evidence did nothing to mediate her thoughts on the matter. Guess nobody's getting lucky at our house tonight. Back to the drawing board. Doc
* Back to the drawing board* LOL The man who figured out the way to recapture our long-lost inquiry disputing function can't come up with a simple "wife macro?" Don't worry-- I tried explaining the cool thing you figured out today to a friend and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I'm afraid that Doc's Trick is too esoteric for non-creditnetters (i.e. the unobsessed) C
DOC, What other spoofs do you work on in your spare time (Grin)! I think your feature is going to have a short lived life if Experian doesn't want people to dispute Inquiries because of all the Lurkers and Creditneters who will just click the link thus giving the Experian Admin the "refering page". I guess since you're supposedly PBM it doesn't matter huh? Smile
Doc, you are a genius...lol. I'm so aggravated...no matter what I try, I simply cannot pull an online report! I even tried going through and buying one and it still won't let me. I just know that by the time I am able to, they will have closed this hole in their system and I won't be able to utilize it. L
