I WAS WONDERING IF THEY WOULD SAY "DENIED" BECAUSE YOU CAN'T DO ON-LINE DISPUTES FOR INQUIRES...

Hotmail has a unique issue too. If you look at a message and write down the id within your message... and someone else logs into their account... but puts your message id in place of their message id (there's a message id number buried in the address of each email) then that other person can see your message in your account.

they have to be logged onto their own hotmail account to gain entry...

but they can't root around. If they then click onto "inbox" or anything else, they go back to their own info and out of yours...

I've been told people have built programs that generate these ids and they just sit and read emails... you wouldn't know what you were getting til the message id worked... but still...

When it worked I freaked and took absolutely everything sensitive out of hotmail forever...

I agree they'll probably shut it down soon. I have no inquiries I can dispute now though. I have a Gulf State inquiry from 9-2000 that I am going to leave alone (got rid of them and don't want to draw attention to myself), one inquiry from my credit union that has already verified twice and three mortgage inquiries.

I was going to wait until my home loan closes to dispute the mortgage inquiries. It's a little too early to do them now. I don't want to have to explain the dispute notices to the lender!

They CAN do anything they want...BUT WHY GET RID OF ON-LINE DISPUTES FOR INQUIRES???????????

They can approve or deny the dispute by phone or mail...SO WHY NOT ON-LINE??????

Doc or any of you other computer experts think about this. Can't you figure out a way to dispute other items as well. You know EX only let's you dispute twice before saying "this has previously been investigated". Can't someone come up with a back alley for these???

    1. Log ALL the way out(close your browser).
    2. Then open CreditNet and CE(log-in and got to CR page) in separate windows. 3. Scroll to the top of this thread
    4. COPY(Dont just click) the link into the browser
    5. Then continue on

Please dont take this the wrong way. I dont want to sound condecending. :)

    George,

Just change the word "others" in the link to You and then still count if it's #1 #2 etc and change the number at the end of the link. I just did it and if I can do it anyone can.

Change the word "Others" in the url to "You" and use the same numerical order.

However, I can't seem to dispute the long list of Credit Expert inquires that I have.

Just the 2 long rows won't dispute.

YOu can do it by ligging in to the "dispute" section, even if you are not a member. Read this:
