I'm new here and kept reading about how "doc's trick" helped elimiate enquiries. I couldn't find anywhere to tell me what "doc's trick" is..

Can someone be so kind as to re-post this? Thanks so much!

we should have removed the thread. Proof they're "watching"...

Doc is amazing. I would join a monthly email list with him quietly telling us his unbelievable secrets ;)

    Hear, hear

I now consider myself a chicken. I disputed my one
valid erroneous inquiry (that the creditor had already
agreed to remove) In the grand scheme of things
I probably should have disputed all.

It would have balanced out. I'm owed several
    "freebies"

    Oh well.

I still think Doc is da bomb for devising the means
for disputing my one legit after ex blanked it.

Hey-- every 6 points are hard-earned and hard-won.

I did the EXACT same thing, 1 erroneous Hard Inquiry...I left the rest alone.

Nothing wrong with disputing WRONG information. What I used for credit, I left alone.

    I know. I know.

I always let ethics get in the way of my evil plans.

There was no guilt in utilizing Doc's "trick" to expedite my legitimate dispute, however I didn't have the *whatever* to challenge the real ones.

I'm mad too. I didn't check in here for quite some time. By the time I did, I had missed the boat on "Doc's Trick" (Sorry Doc, I don't know the VB Script for the "TM" thingy).

But, that all said, I'm really happy that Doc has evidently found some other means to support himself and is no longer doing Tricks. Or was it Trix? I was never completely sure on that...

I disputed all of my inquiries on there. Hard and soft!!! The only ones I didn't dispute where the creditexpert ones.

The ones that were not legit remained. The that were legit, where I really applied for credit, came off. So ethics for me does not come into play!

Sometimes, it's alot easier to do all at once, before they catch on.

I think there was an old joke where the punchline was "Silly Rabbi, Kicks are for Trids!"
