can anyone give me some advice on a open charge -off on a doctor bill that was back from june of 2001? or what i can do to get it off my cr.
Pay it? Make sure they agree to delete before you pay. Send letter outlining payment terms first. When you get it back signed, then send payment via cashiers check or money order.
Was the bill supposed to be covered by insurance minus applicable co-pays, deductibles, or other non-covered out of pocket expenses? If so, did you pau the co-pay, deductible, and/or out of pocket expenses? Michael
no i paid for the services out of my own pocket. the balance left on it was $519.00 so i guess im kinda stuck on this for about 4 more years huh?
See if they will settle and delete for $207 (40%). I would much rather pay $207 then try to wait it out for 4 years.

is there some reason you can't pay it? were you double billed or something? $519 for four years of bad scores isn't worth it (thats like $0.36 per day). negotiate settlment in exchange for deletion if you cant afford the whole bill.
