The SOL starts from the date of last activity, which for you is the last payment you made on this account.

Not if the last payment did not bring the account account current. According to the poster they are still several months behind on the account in spite of recent payment(s).

They are calling me 2-3 months behind, since I had some payments that I did not pay at all for a long while, and I have recently been playing catch-up, making double payments, etc. This has not been helping my balance though, because of all the fees and interest.

This a good way to extend the reporting time and or the sol.

I guess I was not clear in my statement......"which for you is the last payment........" I should have said at minimum. I stand corrected.

I wanted to ask this - and I feel very stupid, BTW - but does complete removal mean that they pull everything off of my report, like I never had credit cards with them, ever? That the accounts never existed?
