   Does AMEX Gold Card matter??
   
   I have had an AMEX gold card since 2003. I don't use it anymore and the $150 for annual membership is due.
   
   I'm thinking about cancelling the card.
   Since it shows no credit line on my report for this card, will it have any effect at all on my credit score if I get rid of this card??
