Does AmEx Green report?

    Hi all,


    The reason I applied for an AmEx Green card (other than having a gateway to the revolving cards) was to have an "open" account on my credit reports. The Green card was opened in December, cycled in December with a balance due, but has not shown up on any of my credit reports. Should I expect this card to report eventually?

    I know the recent Blue accounts don't report, but what about the Green?

    My Green card was reported on the second billing cycle.

    Thanks, Gregory. All of my other major issuer cards update a week (or less) after they cycle to all 3 CRAs, so I'm just used to fast reporting.

    I had two AMEX cards - Green (which I closed) and currently have the Gold Rewards Plus card. Of course, they only report the high balance on my credit reports.

    Mine reports prior month balance(i.e.....30 days previous invoice balance).

    I called AmEx to ask about whether or not Blue really doesn't report. The rep said that they report Blue every six months. Hmmm. I hope that's true!
