I was curious if anybody knows if their amex member b@nking line of credit reports to the 3 credit agencies? It would be nice if they didn't...
I applied today and got the we are trying everything possible to get you approved....... I would think they only report if you have a balance. Maybe someone who got approved will call AMEX and post the outcome on the board. Also, for anyone who got approved how long did it take before you got the pending email?
Here's the # 888-356-1006 is the # in my welcome email for membership banking. I am at work and cannot call.
I tried to move a quote from another thread..he he but I didnt do it right. So.. In the MBNA thread please read Marc04's quote..Which says that he/she has Amex LOC and it doesnt report. Hope this helps. Now if someone will tell me how to do the quote thing and move it somewhere else that would be a help.
Re: does amex member banking report I called and asked if the loc is reported to the CRAs. I was confused by the rep's wording, but I think she was saying that it is only reported if you are delinquent. I'm not 100% sure though. Maybe someone else can call and see if they get the same answer?

Re: does amex member banking report I am positive that I will apply for another loc just for the heck of it but.. I will wait till my citi starts reporting and my nextcard shows the 0 balance before I apply for a second loc. That should give me another 25-30 point increase on my ce report. Hopefully they will give me a higher limit and lower rate. leo momof3, don't get too tempted yet... nothing is confirmed. But we will keep you updated.
