I used this number today. 1-800-903-3637. I called today and asked for a limit increase..I have been at $500.00 for almost a year, which is how long I have had the card. I asked for an increase to $1000.00, the rep told me that he could go me one better and he increased it to $1500 on the spot. All the while being very courteous and willing to answer any question I had. My apr has been falling a bit almost every month, down to less than 17%.....Viva Cap1!!!!! My two other cards act like it is a total imposition to even contact them, Getsmart and Nextcard. just be polite with the Cap1 rep and you should have no problem.....Good Luck and keep us posted what happens. Call the number on the back of your card and ask them to transfer you to retention. If when talking to retention you don't get what you want (within reason) call back and try a new rep. If that doesn't work either, use Planetfeedback to address your concerns. -Om
