I am getting so frustrated and feel like I am going nowhere. Everything I am disputing is coming back verified.

    Hi,

I, and I'm sure almost everyone else on this board has gone through and is going through the same thing.

It really helps that the people on this board really seem to care what happens to the people that come here, and everyone here offers encouragement.

Please don't be discouraged. One day you will laugh at the fact you ever had any problems with credit.

Heck, I wish I could laugh now.....

Keep looking up, and everything will work out.

Excuse the weirdness of my post, but I am happy that it is the weekend :)

Frustration is part of their game.

NanaC always says "Persistence is the key"

Switch tactics to the creditors and CA's. Then return to disputing. Also send procedural requests for all the verifications.

    Soon Come.

    Frustrated? DEFINITELY!

    Discouraged? NEVER!

Actually, it's been a pretty good 2 weeks. I've had 6 deletes/agreed to deletes courtesy of my validation demands and help from the BBB and Minn AG.

    Next up - unpaid judgment.

I am sure everybody here has gotten discouraged or frustrated. But be patient it takes time, and sometimes thinking "outside the box" helps.

I have been a member on CN for about 5 months. All my scores have gone up a solid 50 points. Some things were easy to fix, while others take perseverance.

I am working on my last, very stubborn, very tricky, CA. It has required spending substantial time and filing suit.

But once you learn what is offered on CN, creditors and collectors will never be able to scam you again. The information exchange here gives you such an edge, and shortens the time to repair your credit substantially. You will appreciate your good credit and won't let it get messed up again.

Plus even though it is discouraging at times, I know in the end I am going to win. There is nothing more fun than winning at this game.

Hang in there and just keep moving forward!

Oh, yes! It gets tough..but I'll tell you that when it gets tough..that's when I usually figure out a new angle and it sometimes is the breakthrough I need. Sometimes that new angle comes from this board..ok, most of the time! LOL

Persistence is the key...without a doubt!

I have been done with my credit "cleanup" since January. But the very last derog I had come off took me 7 disputes to get deleted. Why they let me dispute it that many times I'll never know, but it was one of the first I disputed and it was the last. That is frustrating and discouraging. You just need to shrug it off and go at it again. Use a different angle for your disputes.

Disputing by itself will not get your reports cleaned up. The ones that verify you will most likely need to validate with. But if you do sent validations out, be prepared for any and all possibilities.

WE with bad credit have nothing but time on our hands (as far as or credit rating goes). Isn't it better to try, than to just wait out the seven year sentence? I figure I am obligated to try. I am encouraged by the fact that I am focused on the task at hand. The employees of the enemy are just that, employee's. They are task saturated and are bond to make an error. It is not personal for them. Therefore, they are not going to pay as close attention to detail. I lie in wait, licking my chops. To make mistakes is human. There is no way to take advatage of opportunity unless you put yourself in the right place at the right time. I don't get discouraged, the wong result just raises the hairs on the back of my neck and sets me looking for another angle. There is always a way! I feel no guilt in any actions I have taken in the last few month in improving my creditworthines. I was discouraged for over four years when I had a lack of knowledge and potential creditors took adverse actions against me.

I don't ever get discouraged or frustrated. Deal from strength. Build your credit with "patience and discipline". I have derogatories on my reports, but I still get line increases and lower rates. It is all about the numbers and I don't mean FICO numbers. Keep your accounts in good standing. The more you exercise your credit, the better things will look to other creditors.

One thing I have noticed is the newer the derrogatory, the harder it is to remove. My derrogs were old and in the first round of disputes, almost all were deleted. My DHs derrogs are fairly new by comparison and so they are coming back verified. Did dispute #1, then dispute #2.

Then I started researching the laws in the states where the debt was incurred vs the state we are in vs the state where they are (or allegedly are).

As a result, 2 nasty Medclr (= NCO) accounts were deleted off DHs report yesterday. :)

I found the law in BK that states any judgment is VOID when a BK is discharged. Filed a motion with the court and it was vacated.

All I am saying here is that there is more than one way to skin a cat! :)

Finally, I have only been at this since April. When I see other netters took 1 to 2 years to get to 700+, I realise that I am just being impatient.

    Keep truckin'

I just sent my first round of disputes to 4 collection agencies not too long ago and I have been on pins and needles..I have to keep reminding myself to be patient and to continue to read anything and everything that has to deal with credit repair. I don't post very often but I am on this board at least a few hours a day.

Frustrated? Discouraged? Oh . . . I believe I am too far out beyond the two of those. Why? NCO only reporting on TU and I have disputed 'til I am blue in the face. Called to "beg" for a goodwill adjustment - $129 paid - 04/97 - One could hope - Oh no - Mr. Bradford "we only report true and accurate information" blahblahblah.

TARGET & MARSHALL FIELDS both dates are 1998 only on Experian - disputed until I ran out of black ink and did PFB only to receive a form letter that they do not handle credit issues need to call 800 . . . called the 800 # and they only report true and accurate information absolutely positively cannot delete - they now show on Experian, Equifax - haven't checked my TU.

Daimler Chrysler history is reported differently on all three.

I have a positive tradeline - Capital One auto loan that was totalled 28 days after purchase - Geico paid all but $700 and I rolled the 700 into the replacement vehicle - new loan - but Capital One threw the $700 into charge off so that when I disputed with the 3 C's they deleted the whole account. I have had to send two PFB letters on this one and rec'd response from Mr. Cooke that he needed to get more information from me and requested that I call him.

Sears account from 1996 paid charge off - hasn't been on my report since late 1998 early 1999 - appears on Equifax. I dispute with the 5 day reinsertion violation - they send a letter that it has been verified. Just another response to support my initial observation in that they are ALL illiterate.

Citifinancial is reporting our mortgage twice on our credit report. They "need" more information (i.e. copy of credit report) before they can correct. I don't want to dispute with the 3 CRA's because I would run the risk of all of them being deleted and I have one year of excellent history, blah blah blah. We want to refinance yesterday - but are waiting for it to be corrected. LaTonya (Citi) faxed me a letter (I had requested a UDF) the letter listed information backwards Citifinancial account A and Associates Account B when it s/b Citi acct B and Assoc Acct A. She said that it didn't matter that that was exactly how the accts were listed. I explained that that wasn't how they were reported that I didn't pull the info from my a$$ - look at the report that I had faxed her. The 3 CRA's got it from somewhere. She offered to fax me the UDF - which was what I had requested in the first place - keep in mind this was a form that she "faxed the day before". It wasn't signed.

Oh but wait . . . I have three more that I can go into - but I won't. It is beyond the frustrated - beyond discouraged. A more appropriate description would be ENRAGED.

Yes. But then I read this board and find hope.

At first I had great success but then the going got rough. The stubborn ones still remain. I'll get them because I am one of the most stubborn people on the Planet.
