Dear anyone, I was just contacted by CRA about a collection account that was added to my report on 4-29. I received a notice in the mail ages ago from this collection company but I ignored it (I new better). I know my time to request validation is past what other actions can I take. I have know clue what this account is not saying it not mine just don't remember a dept for this amount of money. My first thought is to send in a dispute. Any help is appreciated. brebadc
You have been brainwashed by a poster that has since been banned. He was about the only one that subscribed to the theory that is "too late" to request validation. Go ahead and do it! What was the nature of the contact from the CA?
is the CRA also collecting this debt? what did the letter say? if the CRA is collecting this debt and just sent you a notice I would respond like Jlynn said. and request validation send your letter CMRRR so you can prove that it was sent to them.

Go ahead and do it! jlynn ************************ What's bad about hiding doing that is it harms the newbies because they only hear it from his side because they only read the current pages. They haven't read what other have said about validation during the past 3 years so the newbie doesn't know there is another side to the story therefore accepting hidings views as gospel.
AMEN to this! Thanks to lbrown59's and jlynn's advice (among others) , I was able to get NCO out of my life after sending a Validation Letter to them. This was after receiving letters from them for years!
Re: Re: Does anyone have any idea's. Don't this make you feel bad for present and future new bees who may accept Hidings theory as fact?
anyone have any idea's. I know my time to request validation is past what other actions can I take. brebadc ================== How do you know it? ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <> ><- <>- ><- <> ~~~ ><- <>- ><- <>
