I keep getting calls from 540-886-5300. on my caller id it says marketing masters international. I emalied the company and they said it wasnt them they are not telemarketers. when i looked uup the companies website it said they are in north carolina but that area code is in virginia. they call me up to four times a day and they are violating the law. telemarketers arent supposed to call after 9pm. they have done so several times.does anyone know which company this really is so i cann tell them to stop calling me?

Why not call them and ask who they represent? Don't be afraid of them......you have the power. Charlie

....And if you don't want them pulling your number when you call, dial *68 (wait for the dial tone to trip) 1-540-886-5300. Only when dialing a 800, 888, 866, 877 number are they able to pull your number with their caller ID system automatically.

No, but 540-886-xxxx is in Staunton Va. There is a collection agency there -- Valley Cred Svc -- could it be them?

it could be the only thing i have in collections is a movie i returned late. they are charging me $127.00 for one late movie. if its them it would be a surprise i havent had a call from them in at least two years. i tried calling the number but i keep getting a busy signal.

Telemarketers who want to get past those services that intercept the "unknown caller" calls will just put any old number in - I am getting one 3 or 4 times a day from a number supposedly in WV, but when I dialed it it said it was not in service.

I wouldn't worry, let the answering machine get it, LOL. They will stop after a while. Or answer it and ask them who they are.
