    Why Experian added this statement to my credit report and indicates it as "my statement"

    "Account information disputed by consumer (Meets requirement of the Fair Credit Reporting Act). "

    What does this mean for me?

    That means you disputed the account, but the information they have is what was reported to them. The owner of the trade line hasn't responded yet. See what it looks like after a couple more weeks. It'll either be verified by the creditor or deleted.

    Bob is right and it should take it out of your FICO calculations.
