I got some citi AA's in December and wonder if and when they will report to EXP and reflect on creditexpert?

I have two CITI cards from 10/01 , both reported to EQ and TU within one month. As of Wednesday they haven't reported to EXperian.

    Mook,

All my Citibank cards reported to all credit bureau. It took a couple of months to show up on all credit reports.

I got two Citibank accounts in November. Both are reporting to TU and Equifax but only one is reporting to Experian. Of course the one that is reporting to Experian is the lower limit one that is almost maxed out with balance transfers.

Cit has not reported my Platinum to EXP for about five months now. It's driving me crazy because I made a $7500 payment and it does not show.

I don't know if Citi reports it to the other two CRA's.

When I called, the rep told me they report every three or four months. Of note, until the last reporting in September, they reported to EXP every month.

I assume something is going on but do not know what.

On their website, you can send an email to customer service, they will most likely respond with contact information for that department, including a fax number. Use it to let them know that you would like to have your Experian information updated.

It seems to me a lot of CCC's have changed their reporting habits recently.

Why do you think CCCs have been updating less frequently? To save money somehow?

Who knows? Could be that contract renewal time came and the cost went up. Or they like another CRA better for some service they provide (like TU's early warning monitoring). I doubt we'll ever know. I have just noticed a big difference with Citi, DMB, and AmEx.
