I have been working on repairing my credit and have gotten from mid 500s up to low 600's. At this point having a little more credit is my best bet I'm thinking, after all only thing showing on my credit report is Kohl's with $300 limit, and Capital One at $700ish (since they report it by high balance, tho my real credit limit is $0, they restricted my account and won't undo it based on my current credit. I have tried a few varios credit cards over the past few months and every one has denied me, and I can't afford many more hits (Luckily I spread them across the different CRAs). So right now it seems having someone do the work for me like First United might be worth the $50, has anyone used them? Does it work pretty well?

It is listed under sub prime in the credit card section of this website, when I go there, it says they find unsecured credit cards for your credit history for like $50. They say they pull your credit history only once then go around and find credit cards that will accept you.

The bonus to me it would seem is if I try applying for cards I keep getting Inquirys on my CR, and the few I've tried have all declined me.

If I am not mistaken, for your 50 bucks, they will email or send you a list of those credit cards who usually approve someone with like credit history. You then still have to apply to those on the list - who will pull a hard to determine whether or not to extend credit. You then have more hards pulled, at a price of 50 bucks.

you're better off listing more detailed information about your three reports...scores, how many negs and what they are, cc's reporting, that type of stuff.

Let the experts here help you for free instead.

Well I just got approved for a Bank of America Platinum Card for $2000, so I guess this is no longer a issue for me. Finally can start working my way back up :)

Why did cap 1 suspend your account?

I had been laid off and was unable to pay my account for over 6 months, my credit limit was already low ($300) and from just late fees and over the limit fees it got up to $670 from $280.
