Does HIPAA law demand that paid collections be deleted from reports?

I had a dentist office that screwed up the billing with my insurance. So they sent it to collections. I ended up just paying out of pocket to make it go away. Transunion & Equifax deleted it but Experian won't. They just marked it "paid/closed". But since it's medical related aren't they legally supposed to remove it from my credit report???

I've never heard that. Where does the law say that a medical collection can't be reported?
