if you dispute an item with the CRA's?

Usually your score will go up because the item is being disputed and is taken out of the equation. If it is verified the score usually goes back down to where it was. If it is deleted your score during the dispute should stay the same or quite possibly rise a little.

PS The above applies to negative items, a positive item in dispute would have the opposite effect.
