Does Lexinton Law own Creditnet? What about the advertising? Isn't that a violation of the Credit Repair Act?

To many simularities, and now I receive email from Lex Law since I joined this group...

    Anybody have similar experiences?

I don't think so, but why not e-mail CCN Steve and ask him?

Been a member for 2 years, and never a word from Lexington. I have heard success stories from their users, never anything negative. But again, like you will hear, they do nothing that you cannot.

I am under the impression that this site is independently owned and moderated.

ca0me15/hiding certainly thinks so, he said this in the thread where he was unmasked, as one of the reasons why he supposedly got banned was that he floated that opinion (in addition to the unflattering things that he remarked to Sassy. :()

I get tons of 'credit repair spam' almost daily, and none of it comes to the addresses that I've had registered with CreditNet.

(Although I recently changed it to point to my brand spanking new Gmail account -- anyone who wants an invite let me know privately and I can e-mail you one, since I found out the hard way that ISPs are now beginning to classify any financially oriented e-mail including replys to CreditNet e-mail as potential outbound SPAM, and killing the e-mail before it is sent.)

Check to see if the e-mail that you say that you received from Lexington, really was from Lexington, and not a third-party SPAM company, who is sending Lexington's advertising on their own, and may be sniffing e-mail addresses from anywhere that they can find them. (Despite the fact that that act is illegal under CAN-SPAM.)

Lexington randomly sents out disputes repeatedly as a method to get a tradline removed. I have heard where they lowered reports sometimes too, as they dispute positive tradelines also.

I would stay away from them.

I tried lexington at one time several years ago.

FWIW, I used them for just over one year.

Basically, one year with Lex- no deletions. Less than one year on my own, several deletions.

However, I have heard success stories, so who knows.

Okay, thanks. Not sure about why I get so much spam from Lexington...

Also, saw that Jam mentioned Hiding and I've read a ton of posts before and finally actually found out and know for certain that Hiding90 and Bill Bauer are not the same person. I've spoken to both of them...

I'll have to reread what ever was said about Sassy, missed all those...

:) CRD, he thought I needed some sex and mentioned it in his signature with some kind words about LK as well (insert dripping sarcasm) -- they've all been deleted.

Where did you get the idea that Bill Bauer was also Hiding? The other name that was referenced by Jam was Hiding's admitted new log-in to be able to attempt to bypass his banning. Outside of him having said that he exposed this site as being owned by Lex, it's not here. That's the problem I have with him, alter ego aside, he makes things up and then gets mad when he's asked for confirmation and can't back them up.

Yep, Sassy, at least when you disagree, you back it up... :)

Then we can build our arguements to be Sassyproof... :)

If we win at Sassyproofing, then they had better beware... :)

    ha ha.

I thought I read somewhere a post that said,

    Hiding90=KayKay29 or BillBauer

Anyways... This industry is amazing. I'm at the stage that I'm forking out filing fees to get some movement on some files...
