Does Monogram report AU?

Does Monogram Bank report authorized users? If so, to what CRA's?

I was at Casual Corner with my mother today, she applied for and received their card to get the discount, and included me as an authorized user on the spot.

The clerk did not ask for my SSN, which led me to think that this positive tradeline won't show up on any of my reports.

Typically, must one report a SSN to a CC company to be included as an authorized user?

Monogram never asked for AU info, but reports ExxonMobil, Mens Wearhouse, and Home Depot info for the AU.

This is a mixed blessing :)

    HI mj,

I'm a little unsure what you mean as AU info. Wouldn't that just be my name and SSN?

Also, why do you say it's a mixed blessing? As long as my mother pays on time and doesn't run it up, which she won't ($1100 limit and she never spends money at Casual Corner), it's an easy positive tradeline, right?

    Thanks!

My mother has never had to give my SS# and all mine report and they increased my score. :)

NO SS# IS REQUIRED TO ADD INFORMATION TO A CREDIT REPORT...

    It's like a "REVERSE LOOK-UP PHONEBOOK"...you have phone #...get name, address.
Have address, get name and phone...

We had one at the WHITTIER CALIFORNIA LIBRARY...

Absolutely it's a good thing if it 's all positive and you have "thin" credit file. I was referring to my situation where we are starting to have "too many" items reporting.

    Good luck!
