Does this count as proper DV

    Reading the thread now (good read too) (thanks)and u make a valid point. But reading most laws they tell u what u can't do not what u can. It's a shame we need the blood sucking lawyers.

    Mechanic-sorry for the late reply. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to check the site. I appreciate all the stuff you dug up for me as well as the samples you gave me for my letter. I see where Jam inputs that the law really does not state what a proper validation is, which I'm sure is true. But in the case of this debt, it has already reached the SOL so I believebI will try your plan of attack. Worst thing that could happen is they don't do anything and I fight more. Best case scenario it puts a scare in them and it all disappears :)

    Oh it's ok I been AWOL too as it's hunting season now.
    However the scare tactic has yielded good results for a lot of people. Myself included a few years back.

    Usually after having to cut a check, they are in a really big hurry to delete so that they don't have to cut another check.
