I went in to Target and applied for their Guest Card, the associate says why would you apply for a Guest Card when you can get the Visa at a lower rate, so I say OK, but what came up was "Your Applicate Reguires Further Processing We Will Contact You By Mail in 7 - 10 Days" Do this mean denied???
its probably harder to get the visa. it is with most store cards. its not a no. i actually applied for a store card with visa and got told it was denied. a week later the card came in the mail. of course they didnt tell me i had to wait 7-10 days. i think the clerk was just confused in my case. it really depends on your credit score if you get approved though. you might need a 640 i would guess.
